During an adult visit to Nikaho City in 2005, ASCA members viewed a unique display of Kyudo archery, a ceremonial Samurai art form. That began an effort to bring this art form to Anacortes. Several performances were arranged during the 2007 Anacortes Arts Festival on a platform next to the Guemes Channel.
